Malacoda: And he considered Brutus a rival for her affection?

Marius: Affirmative.

Malacoda: Thank you; no further questions. As the witness has attested, Alucanth had motive and means to kill Brutus. He flew into a rage as a result of their love triangle and slew him. The prosecution rests.

Bald Boy: Very well. Let the defense present its rebuttal.

Alucanth: At least we can explain most of the suspicious circumstances by telling them what happened at the library.
